Just a reminder to club members (especially those in the UK). Could you please make sure you are on the clubs VIP email service. The last VIP email went out over the past week+, so if you received that you are ok.

VIP email is part of club membership so if you are a yearly paying member ensure your membership is paid up/active. This weekend the computer will be removing any old emails/inactive memberships.

If you need to check that your yearly membership is up to date just email me (peter@frenz com) and include full NAME & ADDRESS.... and ask me to check your current membership status.

Life Members your memberships are always active BUT if you haven't received the VIP emails lately you may need to sign on.

It's easy to do. Put your Finn VIP, your name and membership number in the SUBJECT area. Keep the text area totally empty/blank- when you email.(Details in the newsletter as well).

We use the VIP email to send out things like pre sale ticket info and occasionally club only ticket offers. It is up to the club member to keep their email address current and to sign onto the VIP. If you are not on it you will miss out.

I'm off to NZ tomorrow so I've changed the computer clean up of the VIP email list till WED Jan 20th.

So if you have an inactive membership and need to renew you will have time. Just remember I am email free for about 3 days so allow for that if you have any questions.

I can't stress show important it is for those who live in the UK (and surrounding areas) to keep your membership active (which means VIP email active).

The club does have ONE LIFE membership spot remaining and that will probably be it for 2010.

As far as new memberships we have 6 or 7 new membership spots available. We still try to keep a ceiling on the amount of people in the club so we can continue with the one on one replies etc.

Hmmm - sounds to me like the UK are going to get another 7 Worlds Collide show - maybe next month, and maybe involving more folks than the small lineup that played Dingwall's last year.
