Saw Neil and Tim in small venues whilst living in NZ and it is just like having them in your front room - didn't think we'd get the chance of initmate gigs in the UK - deep joy

I was really pleased to be able to get tickets for this! I still can't quite believe I'm going. It should be an excellent gig!

Just to let people know - I have contacted the venue and there will be no public sale tickets available so the gig is truly sold out.

If anyone has a spare ticket going then please contact me as I unfortunately missed out.

Given the bush hall discussion is here at the moment I thought it was worth alerting you to Hexed's posting in the Neil's New Management Thread:

Sony New Zealand's Mike Bradshaw To Manage Neil Finn
January 27, 2010 - Global | Legal and Management

By John Ferguson, Auckland

Sony Music's New Zealand managing director Mike Bradshaw is leaving the company to manage Neil Finn, Billboard.biz has learned.....

Bradshaw says that Finn has also been working on some intriguing solo material, which he says is "very different" from what the Kiwi star is known for from previous releases.

Wonder if this material is ready to be previewed at Bush Hall? Just a thought... Wink

So, do people think that Bush Hall will be a completely solo gig (which I think would be a first for a Neil show in London) or will he be accompanied - if so by whom - Liam? Elroy? Nick? Johnny Marr?

Johnny & Cribs play their last date in Vancouver Sunday night & first gig on Aus tour is 13th. I reckon they'll come back to the UK between tours so there is potential for Johnny to play at Bush Hall, especially as he couldn't make the 7CW2 shows.

Radiohead/Wilco are in US recording/touring respectively.

It is great that Neil is here to play what is a fanclub only gig. Is that the only reason he is here, can't be promo work for the new CH album. Could there be a single release? Could there be more 7WC2 activity. PG made reference to the discussion @ his recent meeting with Neil being sidetracked to talk about 'The Sun Came Out' (http://www.frenz.com/16min/) ........just wonder if they've got any plans for anything else......film screenings or DVD perhaps??!

perhaps Crowded House are taking after The Raconteurs with their last album, a surprise release with no warning, just putting it in the record stores and see how it goes... It generated a LOT of publicity for the other bands who did it..
I doubt it, but it'd be nice!

and Bart, Johnny still has a home in portland i think, so he may go there for the brief time before Aus...
although i do hope he comes to Bush Hall.. he's my favourite musician in the world...

I think we can probably expect one of neil's sons to make an appearance...
