That's What I Call Love |
My cds have shipped (excuse me, "have dispatched") from Amazon UK; let's see how fast the Royal Mail and USPS are.
XM 45 ("The Spectrum") has been playing Hazel Black and Duxton Blues for the last couple of days, but I haven't been listening at the right times. I did hear You Never Know yesterday, but quickly identified it as the Wilco version, even before the car radio display came up. -- And I wake up blind Like my dreams were too bright |

Go Spectrum! I've heard You Never Know a few times on that station too, but will now be keeping my ears open for the others.

we get our stock in the morning, yey, quite a few stores are waiting on stock I think- we just did a phone around.... so please be patient. Always allow 3-4 days for stock to arrive as some places only get deliveries once a week.

Anybody pick up the single CD edition? I'm interested to know what's on it.

Answer here, Paul :-
http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4...ame-Out/Product.html too many good tracks missed off, especially All Comedians Suffer, Long Time Gone and Bodhisattva Blues! They could have missed Run In The Dust off the single CD for starters! |

As far as I know it's the same as disc 1 on the 2cd version. |

Cheers Bart. Interesting that they've used the artwork from the 2CD issue. It's different on the single disc (I looked in store but forgot to check out the actual track list. Doh).

This album is a bit of a snoozer, no?

The Neil, Liam, and Elroy songs are generally snoozers, I agree (aside from Bodisattva Blues). But I think there are tons of really good songs on here. Current faves, in general decreasing order are: What Could Have Been Reptile The Water Ties That Bind Us Bodisattva Blues Riding the Wave Duxton Blues I like the album a lot, although I was disappointed that the Neil songs seem the weakest of the bunch to me. The only song I can outright say I dislike is Little By Little, whose lyrics make me cringe. ---------------------------------------------- Joyce |

It isn't, but if I'd have been choosing, it might have been. My first thought is that disc 1 is brilliant, loads of interesting stuff on there, but disc 2 is more average - and yes that includes All Comedians Suffer. |
