still waiting for the one I pre-ordered from JB and it is only coming from the next state. So glad I bought a copy in store

Just saw OXFAM also have it to order on their site

(people may need to visit their home country OXFAM site, I've not explored this personally)

Number 2 in the NZ album chart Cool

If anyone's wondering, the number 1 spot is held by Roger Whittaker. Try whistling... perhaps not.

Number 2 - that's great! And I don't begrudge Roger Whittaker. Can't deny he's got a great voice and I still listen to some of his late '60s/early '70s stuff.

Got mine from the UK today, but yes, I will buy the domestic release when it comes out. It's for a good cause. And there's the Oxfam thing, too.

Just checked my email and Amazon have sent a message saying how my order is unavailable and been cancelled!

How annoying, did anyone get a copy through Amazon? I find it odd that they don't have it...

Still waiting for my CD from Mighty Ape in NZ. They sent me an email on 1/9 saying it was dispatched. My credit card was debited on 4/9. I sent an email on 4/9 and they replied to say delivery was 3 to 5 days from the date I got my email........gee I guess they can't add 1 + 5 very well......'cause it does NOT = 9 (th)!!!

The 7 Worlds special on Foxtel was GREAT !!! it helped me to relive the 3 concerts!!!

I noticed that EIL.com said that the 2CD version was a limited edition of 5000. I don't know if that's just for the UK (I hope so for the sake of North American fans!), but if it's true then is it possible that this version is indeed sold out (apart from retailers' stock)?

Bizarre! Why on earth would they so severely limit access to the 2-cd set? All it does is limit the potential revenue for Oxfam.

Thanks FG. I wouldn't mind getting a t-shirt. I didn't see them on the Australian site...

I just ordered the double-cd as a pre-order on Amazon.com US. $13.99, what a deal. Allegedly it will be shipped to arrive on release day, which is Sept. 29th. I've had the pleasure of already having had a listen via the largesse of a friend with a copy, but I'm withholding critique until I get the official CD in my hands.

Well it finally arrived. And, having given it some very careful listening, CD2 gets my vote.

Totally agree. Going to have to go track down some past albums too.

It's definitely an eclectic mix of music. What I like is that some songs (Too Blue, Learn To Crawl, Reptile, Hazel Black) are instantly likeable while others are slow burners and become more enjoyable after 20-30 listens, so there's always going to be something new to find with every listen.

On a semi linked note, it was nice to see Sebastian Steinberg making a cameo appearance in the Sandler/Apatow flick 'Funny People' also.
