WOW! I knew there had to be something other than a one-off gig in London!

This is billed as SWC, is there a relaunch/possible cinema/DVD release of 'The Sun Came Out' to plug?

- got it in one! Big Grin

I guess there's a fair chance Neil will be @ the Q & As, the show @ Soho doesn't start till 22:00

I assume the film is premiering @ Santa Barbara but wonder if the UK will get a screening @ some stage......and.....if there's a cinema release, there's got to be a DVD follow-up, hasn't there?

Gryph, any update on this (....after your brekkie, of course!)

Amazed that no-one else has posted on this....no Frenz in the locality?

Perhaps they should have screened the film in London before this evening's gig - might have got a better reaction!

Bart I think what they are showing is a slightly different version to the dvd, so it possibly might not of been ready in time for London.

Thanks Gryph,

- did you mean 'DVD', i.e. is there definitely going to be one, or 'TV broadcast'?

The original documentary was approx. 45 mins so I'm guessing the film version has a lot more live footage?

Hopefully, we'll get a chance to see it in the UK @ some stage, either big screen or DVD.

Opps I did write DVD didn't I.

Well we did talk about it so I'd say a good chance.

Early days but it's crazy not to have it on DVD.

I know (for example) that the Wilco boys played a song in the studio that has never been heard and that is in the movie (according to Neil's email last night) so yes extra bits.

When I know more I will mention it....

This may be one of my thicker moments (or maybe it's just the excitement clouding my brain), but I haven't been able to figure out if it's possible to buy a single ticket to the screening. So ...

Would anyone planning on going to the film be interested in splitting a 4 ticket minipak with me? Per the site, http://sbiff.org/main/for-attendees/ticketing/ they're

"Good for 1 person to 4 films, 4 people to 1 film, or any combination there in."

PM me if you're interested.
