Hello all. It's time to prepare for the next and always exciting frenz.com annual auction. We actually didn't have one last year as it's a lot to work on and coordinate, and I didn't have time. But I have time now!!!
We already have 1 donation from a UK fan (thank you, sir). Anything frenz-related in good condition that is not an illegal copy of some sort (like a CDR) is acceptable. Please email privately me if you are considering donating anything - there are details to be worked out ahead of time!
I have not yet scheduled the auction - it will really depend on when I feel like we have enough items to make a good go at it. Hopefully it'll only take a couple of months to get organised and have all the items ready to go. So I'm currently thinking August-ish for the auction, but honestly, it could happen earlier or later. I'm really not sure yet!!!
Quick refresher for the suspicious ones out there: All of the money brought in by the auction goes ONLY to pay for frenz.com related things. This money doesn't line my pockets. It pays for the website hosting, the mailing list, the forum, the development of the discography database, and other things we have going on that cost money. The fan club does not pay for these things, and that's fine by me since the auction has nearly covered costs every year, leaving very little coming out of my pocket. Obviously, if we ever had more money than annual expenses, we would entertain suggestions on expanding the site and its services. Actually, you're always welcome to email me privately with suggestions!!!
