This is excellent news. I will be in the USA at this time and if Tim is scheduled to play on 31st or 1st, could possibly get myself to Seattle (I have a prior date with Mr Springsteen in Milwaukee on the 30th August Big Grin). Otherwise here's hoping there will be some further shows announced.

I hope you get there yemanja. We'd love some reviews Wink

I'm also going to be interested to see whether Tim has his new album released by then, or whether he performs some of his new material prior to the album being released (or launched or whatever).

I'll have my fingers crossed for you that there will be other shows announced at that time. Smiler

Bumbershot's a bit early for me to make it, and I'm not a real festival person anyway interesting as that one sounds. Am hoping for dates later in September to coincide with my plans.

Hopefully Bumbershoot will get massive publicity. I'm excited that Tim's there whether it does or doesn't. Lots of people around the forums seem to know of it, and are positive about it.

I'm hoping this is a reflection of people's awareness of Tim's maturity in his current material, and his standing musically. Big Grin

Good exposure, excellent opportunity. And if the new album is out and about by then, what a wealth of material to present. Smiler

Rest the voice beforehand mate, and knock 'em out. Big Grin If his voice is in the same state it was for the Enz shows, there will be absolutely no doubt that that's exactly what he'll do. Cool

TR, Bumbershoot is very popular here in the Northwest of the US. people travel from all over the NW (and states beyond) to attend. last year someone even came all the way from Australia! Big Grin(hi Tab!). it takes place over three days; I have tentative plans to be out of town that weekend (it's a holiday weekend in the US) but may have to adjust my plans a bit depending on when Tim is scheduled. in any event, lots of people will have the chance to hear Tim, no worries!

I'm continually amazed at how you get around FG Wink I'd say you've probably more than qualified for your own set of wings by now. Big Grin

I also hope you get to Bumbershoot this year Sunset. If Tim so far is any indication, it would be well worth it for him alone (although of course that's me speaking Razzer).

I'm finding myself wishing for some kind of financial miracle which would enable me to go to the US for these shows. Smiler

However one miracle per year is probably enough - my back is improving in leaps and bounds and I actually have some of the feeling back in my heel now Big Grin Big Grin

I'm so grateful for that, that everything else kind of pales into insignificance. Cool

I wouldn't be interested in going to Bumbershoot (as good as it sounds) because its not my kind of thing, and I'm more frail than I used to be, so I have to be watchful in a jostling crowd, but his other shows would be just perfect. Wink

Still, there are bound to be excellent photos and reviews from those who do go, and they are the next best thing. Big Grin
