That's What I Call Love

Finally the NPR show Mountain Stage will be airing the performance from February 10 in Charleston, WV.

http://www.mountainstage.org/

There are links to find radio stations and times in your area. Also, if you click on the "broadcast calendar" link, it looks as though they archive the shows a few weeks post-broadcast. I will try to remember to keep checking that page and remind everyone again when the show is included there as well.

If you'd like a visual aid while listening, go to this thread for my photo from this very performance! Smiler

Thanks for the reminder, hyacinth--I don't always catch Mountain Stage and would have missed it tonight without the reminder!

Glad you got to see the taping live...hopefully Tim will get to Pittsburgh for us in the Fall Smiler.

Mountain Stage is being aired at 6 p.m. EDT (one minute from now) on WXPN Philadelphia, on the web at www.xpn.org

The Mountain Stage website indicates Tim is on on during the second hour of the show.

And, it looks like they'll put the show up on the website after it's broadcast--that site is

They cut two songs for the broadcast; I know they usually do that so they can fit all the artists into the two-hour time slot. I was surprised they didn't air Couldn't Be Done. They also cut Only Natural, but there were some microphone issues during that one so I kind of figured they'd leave that one out. It was fun to hear this and relive the memories, though!

Damn, despite some very thoughtful frenz I managed to miss at least 2 different airing times for this *sigh* Oh well, hopefully it'll turn up somewhere one day, or will be archived as hyacinth said.

So you have tix to Pittsburgh too, hyacinth? Sweet. Devil has one with my name on it all being well. C'mon Tim, where are the east coast shows later in September *please*

It looks as though they put their archived shows up a couple of weeks after the week of broadcast. NPR member stations that air Mountain Stage may do so whenever they wish during the week after it's been fed by West Virginia Public Broadcasting.

So, the week for Tim's show began on May 2--I'd expect by the end of May you can hear the archived version on www.mountainstage.org

What a pleasure to hear Tim on American radio! He mentioned playing on Mountain Stage with
ALT--he said he had very vague memories of that time, which he blamed on his bandmates Wink. Wish that show were archived...

Mr. Green has no word on East Coast shows as of yet...

The show is in the archives now:

Mountain Stage

Tim's not until the beginning of the second hour of the May 2 show.
