Just been surfing on Karl Wallinger's site (World Party). A few years back, Peter Gabriel opened up his studios to laods of people including Tim (and Andy White) and now an album is out. Tim is listed as being on one of the tracks

It's all true!! The single with Tim was up on iTunes some months ago. It's a cool song but because of the gazillion layers, tracks, etc., it's quite hard to pick out Tim's voice. I like knowing that he's buddies with Gabriel, though!

And you'll probably recall that his 1989 self-titled CD--produced by Mitchell Froom--featured Gabriel's crew: Tony Levin, David Rhodes and Jerry Marotta.

A big Gabriel fan, I was pleasantly surprised to see TF in the credits, even if, as you point out, his voice is pretty well buried in the track!

The song "Whole Thing" is actually on Andy's Teenage album as well as a few other Tim collaborations.

Its one of my favourite albums and certainly worth a listen.

whole thing is a great song but I am still straining to hear Tim on it...
