The clip was edited using Avid Free DV using nested tracks, slo mo and title/picture-in-picture fx (prg has been sadly discontinued now, but maybe it's still available online somewhere) - I have always found it very stable to use
The sun is a rendered effect built with After Effects 5.5 (quite simple to do, actually)
