PJ will be starting his next album around September 1st. He will be finishing up on the Portraits over the next few weeks, so probably the last chance to get in and get Juddy to draw you....his website has the details.

Phil's been previewing some of the new stuff on his MySpace page recently. Keep an eye on it for some exclusive tasters of the next album, tantatively titled 'El Bum'...

bummer, though i spose Bones is still playing with Russell Crowe, and we wouldn't want rusty to lose his bass player now wouldn't we?

some of us might think it a blessing Greatfox (meowwww).

It might of worked for Phil to do it...3 Rod Lavers worth of people who have heard Counting the Beat from Countdown to Kmart commercials....if nothing else it would of gotgen a lot of people up and dancing......could of been good exposure.....

I'm watching a tape of the countdown spectacular concert that was aired on ABC, and i've decided there's a large Phil-sized hole in the show, with or without the swingers. I really wish they'd been able to play...

Yeah I agree, Counting the Beat would of brought down the house..... it was the perfect audience too (plus a selection of Kmart shoppers) people really wanting soemthing to dance to.

Apparently El Moppo spotted Juddy heading into the studio the other day...could it be...the start of a new batch of recordings???????? Hope so, still loving Novelty Act.

Over the next month we are going to try and find some time (yeah right) to edit up all our own footage filmed at the Schnells 'HEROES LET YOU DOWN" clip, apart from the official camera we also had our own there on the day, if it's any good we'll hand it over to Phil to use (maybe on his site) it's just a time thing.... and the drummer audition stuff for CH seems to be taking over our days. I seemed to remember spending a lot of time on a very high ladder filming.....!

Gryph.

p.s. LOVED our twisted artwork PJ....how else would we have it..... as freaky as possible (: (: (:
We are honoured...Ailsa Craig shining like a beacon...but what are those 2 kangaroo's up to????

I have to say she-bang has a completely different meaning on Phil's web forum.
I would forget the idea of touring as that is highly unlikely.
Looking forward to the new album though!

Cold & unmotivated! Eeker Should we be sending blankets & tins of soup?

Thanks for the info, i shall watch this space. Although my samuri training does not allow for moments of "least expectation". It is the Bulshido Way.

Aww. Grampa Phudd. God Bless. Cool
That's great news. I can picture Grampa singing grandchild to sleep with a sleepy time version of Counting The Beat. I'm counting the beat 2,3,4,5..... with a tinny in me hand...awww
So Grampa prefers the tined soup fromCarlton United. Strewth, you'd have to be a right galah to go thinking he'd want Country Ladel. Fairdinkum.

Look, it's always important to get the work/life balance right. *hick* Wink
