Two page Judd interview in the upcoming Glossy Newsletter #65....(about 2 weeks away) and it looks like some signed copies of Novelty Act will be available to order through the club (just working all this out now).

So some sort of release in (we hope) early 2006. No news on a start date for 'Falling Off A Cloud' video but it's crying out for a clip of some sorts....

Hey, PG -- for those of us who don't know, what is the Glossy Newsletter? Is it available to all of us?

Sorry Jeri
took awhile to get back to you. The glossy Newsletter is what we send out several times a year to Frenz of the Enz club members.

So there is some minimal sub-fee. I think Deb has the price details somewhere on the Frenz.com. Otherwise if people want membershipd etails just email me (peter@frenz.com) and include full Name/Address. We've had some really positive Emails so far around the Novelty Act release date.

thanks
PG

Thanks for the update. Great to hear that the club is getting behind Phil and this release. Recon direct sales is the way to go on this one.

Checking out the Juddster has to be essential listening to any latter day converts.

From what I understand they are still looking for a label and the Enz club will offer it as a direct sale sometime next year.

I think artwork has to be done, and general stuff like that. ...Also the Christmas period and leading up to it is a hell of a time for CD pressing plants, they tend to be busy churning out Best Of cds for the Xmas market.

Also for us, moving home, office, the auction and general life stuff... the time to do other projects is limited. We have the Bic Runga album coming out in NZ, and a few other things, really work commitments so need to do those too.

I'm just happy that we have a fairly firm date for it, especially after you guys have waited for quite awhile.

Cheers
Gryph.

Many people seem to think if the Enz did a tour Phil would be included. I personally don't think Phil would want to do live shows. Has he even mentioned doing any shows supporting Novelty Act?
I just can't see it. Although I would crawl across broken glass to see it!!

Is "Falling Off a Cloud" going to be on Novelty Act? I've been hearing about it
but never actually heard it. Is there a firm song list for this CD yet? 199 days and waiting!

Hi Goog

In another post I've listed the contenders for the "Novelty Act" track line-up. It looks likely that "Falling Off a Cloud" will appear in its original early '90s demo form (as mentioned in the Frenz newsletter).
